"Stay"cation Part 1

• No pictures to share at the moment but here's a bullet post of how I've spent the last 7 days.
• Aaron went to his dad's finally for 6 days.
• It went well. He had fun.
• One of my nieces came to see me last Sunday and stayed until this Sunday.
• Her sister, my other niece, came to find us on Wednesday.
• We went to a man-made lake on Saturday for "family" day, with my brother and his girlfriend, and his little son.
• I didn't sew much, but work on something that I'm excited to share. (Waving hello to Flossyblossy, it's her generosity that sparked my creativity!) Picture to come soon.
• I did cook and eat plenty. Friday I had a home-made pizza party with the two nieces and a nephew.
• I love to cook or other people. Me not so much.
• Last Tuesday I spent the whole day with a friend for her birthday-which was technically on Friday. Happy Birthday SmileyMama! Here's to 36 more Smiley birthdays!
• I danced in a fountain with the two nieces and a nephew at Midnight on Saturday. There are pictures! :) This has been something I've done with the girls for 2 years in a row. I've always promised to take the nephew and finally I had my chance. The smiles on his face! Priceless. I love being an aunt!
• The nieces went home yesterday before lunch.
• Aaron came home yesterday afternoon.
• It's an adjustment having him back.
• I enjoyed the tantrum-free.
• I had very little time to miss Aaron but by Thursday/Friday I was missing him.
• Staycation #2 starts this afternoon. I'm about to bring Aaron to his second vacation destination this morning.
• No kids are coming over this week while A is away. I'm going to really rest up and enjoy my free time by reading and sewing and watching movies.
• Next Sunday we're going out of town. My boy is getting wheelchair work done in the big city.
• I'm looking forward to going out of town. It is very taxing physically with Aaron. still there are enjoyable moments to be had during the week.
• This time I will be very careful when I upload the pictures to the computer.

Okay I need to go get Aaron ready. Everything's packed up I just need to make a last check of everything.
