I met a bloggy friend!

Here is Aaron are patiently waiting to meet up with our bloggy friend, Kari, at a nearby mall from where A and I were staying. We waited and waited and the boy was getting restless so I decided to take him for a little stroll into one of the stores. We zoomed around Weeners (not the actual name of the store) and I couldn't find anything I was looking for so I zoomed right back out. Going around a corner I turned too sharp and BANG! The front wheel of the wheelchair hit the theft deterrent thingies and broke it to pieces. I'm look at it, then look back and whisper Sorry and continue on my merry way. However the security guard crooks her little finger and says Nuh huh, back up. Now I'm getting all sweaty and nervous because well who has got the money to pay for those things?? Then all of a sudden I see Kari show up. Hi! Says me. I can't move from here because I broke the bleep bleepin thing down there and if it wasn't so freakin in the way I wouldn't have bleep bleepin broke it. Thankfully I was able to go without incident. We went to lunch at the food court. Kari and I chatted while Tristan ate fries and nuggets and Aaron took a nap.
Afterwards we headed to the park to take pictures. Here's Kari with the two boys.
Here are the two boys. Aaron's looking off to his left there because he so wants to go to the Children's Hospital for some reason! We didn't go this trip.
And here is me and Kari! I couldn't get over how beautiful she was and her eyes are so strikingly similar to mine. I swear we were sisters in a past life! She is a delightful lady and I look forward to many more visits with her and her amazingly cute little guy Tristan!
It was great meeting you Kari, please let's do it again sometime, and I promise not to break anything and watch where I'm going!!

(Follow-up to that...I was too embarrassed to go back to Weener's the next day so I went on Friday to get A some presents before heading home. Upon entering the store I could see that they'd used some scotch tape to put the thing back together. Couldn't help but smile to myself. Ooops, my bad. On the way out sure enough it was the same security guard, this time she escorted the wheelchair around the thingy and made sure we made it out of the store without anything breaking.)
