straight lines

What do you see?
I see a quilt that I made this week.
I see crooked lines and crooked piecing.
The piecing is supposed to be crooked.
The quilting, not so much.
I see something beautiful I created.
I see that life still goes on.
I forgot that I enjoy making.
Inside me may sometimes be ugly,
but thank goodness for making pretty things.
I see hope for a better tomorrow.
A prettier tomorrow,
one stitch at a time.
Have a most wonderful weekend!!

Big kisses back to you:-) Oh Laura, I just love that quilt...I SO wish I knew how to quilt!! If I lived near you, I'd be making you teach me how to! hehe You are beautiful inside and out, just like all the gorgeous creations you make with your hands...you put so much heart into it, that's what makes them so very special!! xoxo
