SPF

This photo was taken on a Saturday a few weeks back.
This is my first photo taken in a public place and it's not too bad. I was waiting for my brother to come pick me up after having walked through the Saturday Farmer's market in town. The bag I brought with me was full of games to play to keep my little nephew entertained at his dad's place during the afternoon while my brother had yardwork to do. I also added lunch and dessert from the Farmer's market for the two of us.
We had a great day despite the overcastness of the weather. We had a picnic on the lawn and played games all afternoon. When the yardwork was done I decided to have fun and had a few drinks that evening.
Not wanting to bother anyone I decided to walk home. Little did I know it was 2-3 miles to my house! I walked barefoot in the pouring rain. I had an umbrella but in my half-drunkeness I wanted to feel the rain on me. I walked through every puddle just because I could. I was feeling alive. I had stashed away a drink in my bag so when I finally arrived at the park well past midnight I sat on Aaron's favourite swing and had a drink in his honour. Some people call me crazy. Yes I agree. I even go so far as to say I'm a little eccentric. I like to have fun. I like to make things memorable. I like to go all out and make the most of every experience I have.

I did pay for that little excursion for 3 days afterwards, I could barely walk.
Never do I have any regrets for what I do.
I think back on it with a smile.

You're like Gene Kelly in Singing in the Rain!!! I think your midnight excursion sounds fantastic... I've been known to do the same thing. :)

All that matters is you can look back on it and smile :) I can't imagine walking that far barefoot though! Sounds like you had a fun day!

Woot woot, she's showing an ankle!! :) I think I'd smile at walking barefoot through the rain too... I have done that, used to do that a lot actually, but it's been a long time. Maybe too long.
