Thank you for the birthday wishes

Although the day of my birthday started pretty rough and Aaron's moodiness wasn't helping things by the afternoon things started to pick up. I recieved this beautiful bouquet of flowers from some lovely Twitter/flickr friends. How sweet are they?! When family and friends came to visit they asked who sent the flowers and I answered my friends from the internet. People you "met" on the internet sent you flowers? Yes!


Upon the many sweet gift I recieved I think the sweetest was 2 packs of 4 fat quarters from the sisters who live 2 houses down. I LOVE these ladies so much! I was hosting supper for my friend and her daughters. I only had 4 placemats for 5 people. I was able to whip out a placemat in time for supper at 6 pm using the fabric that the sister neighbour gave me. She knows my colours very well! After pink I think aqua is my second favourite.
So after serving supper and cleaning up I hurried a shower in and then ran my friend's girls to catch a movie while she watched and put my little Aaron to bed.
It was a splendid birthday.

It was my birthday week and I decided to make presents for others.



We were on a walk to see the sister ladies to deliver these little placemat gifts I made for the sisters

and their home care worker.


I'm having a lot of fun making placemats. They are usable little works of art! I've started another one today.
