Day 6 with not much to say

  • I finished quilting the quilt.
  • I was all gung ho to square it up and put on the binding tonight.
  • However, on a whim I decided to give Aaron a haircut.
  • I dread cutting the boys hair.
  • I never know what I'm doing even though I've been cutting his hair for 9 years.
  • I started cutting. And cutting. And cutting some more.
  • I thought I'd be adventurous and bring out the clippers.
  • I trimmed around his ears and the back of his head.
  • I cut too much.
  • It got shorter and shorter.
  • It turned into a mushroom cut.
  • Mushroom cuts went out of style years ago.
  • I'm afraid my boy looks stupid.
  • It makes me want to cry that I messed up.
  • I have pictures but I can't post them because they aren't the best.
  • I then tried to fix the hair some more.
  • And messed up some more.
  • It makes me feel awful.
  • After his bath tomorrow I'll take new photos in the daytime.

Hair will grow back Laura dont stress over it.I am sure he looks just fine, I use to be a hairdresser, tell ya what if it looks too mushroomy trim with scissors, using a comb to hold up the hair, trim the part that looks too roundish till ya get it more like a man's hair cut to even it out.Do I make sense?
It will grow sweety dont fret!!
