We arrived at the hospital this morning 45 minutes early at 5:45.
Aaron was in bright spirits before he was taken away at 7:00.
Check out his fingers in the lower right corner of this picture.
I hadn't noticed this until it was uploaded.
Me and my boy just clowning for the camera.
Taking him away at 7 am.
He came back crying and he was visibly upsept. The first thing he did was showed me his arm and said "Mummy take it out." He wanted me to remove the I.V.
I had my mp3 with me and put on some Zen instrumental with animal sounds for him. He enjoyed it so much that he fell asleep for half an hour. He was awake before my 5 am alarm went off. He was still groggy from the anesthesia.
At 9:45 am I started putting his clothes on, the IV was removed and we were free to go home.
He's waiting in the hospital lobby for the taxi. Check out his new sunglasses. He's just so cute!

Unfortunately on our way out of the hospital my vision started going blurry. I know what that means and I have to hightail it home, take some adv1l and lay on the couch.

We arrived home at 10:30. I place Aaron on the couch, covered him up, took some meds and layed on the couch with him. We both fell asleep for an hour. Aaron stayed on the couch while I did some house chores and grabbed a bite to eat as I had skipped breakfast. I went back on the couch at 12:30 after *diapertime* which I did on the couch. I didn't have the strength to move him to his bed then back to the couch. He finally got off the couch at 2:15 but he's still a little loopy and doesn't move very much.

I think he'll be fine by bedtime and he'll be able to go to school tomorrow. So the dental report is that he had 4 itty bitty cavities. He had 2 teeth removed and he had a full dental cleaning. His teeth are sparkly now. It's very difficult to clean his teeth when he's so aversive to having anything in his mouth. It's something we have to work on.

I'm glad everything went well!

I really need to make an appt for Kayla to see the dentist, but I know she will freak out (she did the first time over a year ago!) and won't let them clean her teeth. They're going to need to put her under or something!

I'm glad it went well and that it is over!

Gwen's teeth are hard to brush as well. She will let us do the front ones but the back ones are a challenge. Her dentist told us that after we brush we should put some Crest mouthwash (alcohol free) on the brush and go over her teeth with it. So far it has worked and she hasn't had any cavities which means no hospital visits!

My youngest has "cabities." The dentist wants $2,300 to fill little bitty cabities. We're on a wait and see if they'll fall out before they hurt venture. I'm hoping that Aaron is feeling better soon! Thanks for the notes you sent me earlier! It was great to hear from you! Big hugs!
