I was going to show you a very cute photo of my new hairdo but that didn't happen. Thursday morning I woke up feeling like someone had been shoving brillo-pads down my throat all night. I ignored it but it just got worse. Friday morning it was just plain awful, not only did I swallow brillo-pads but now it was full of barbed-wire. Once I got that boy on the bus I hightailed it to the ER to find out what the heck was going on. I had my suspicions but needed to confirm and get some relief as well. Sure enough I was diagnosed with Strep throat. The second time in 2 years. I remember the last time and thought I was going to die when the strep had attacked the lining of my stomach. Oh my holyhell that is an experience I'd like to forget. Thankfully, this time I was smart and noticed the symptoms right away and went to be checked within 2 days. (Last time I waited 4.) I'm medicated and hydrated and I'll be fine in a few days.
I walked by the little guy's room Thursday evening and he was sitting watching a movie like such the big boy that he is. I love the way he puts his little feet and I had to capture that. He moved and I didn't get the shot I wanted but this will do. I love the foot that is curled under his bum. Too cute!
A sign I made for the weekend. The first step in taking back my weekends. Along with consnantly telling the sire of said children that I am willing and free to visit them at his place but my place is off limits to the kids for a while. I think he's getting the hint. After a while it just got too tiring for me and thus I think this is why I got sick!
*Just to let you know that Aaron is exempt for this sign*
Have an enjoyable weekend.
I know I will....kid=free!!!!

You are so beautiful. It's okay to take control of your life. You are living it! It's okay to have rules and conditions. It's healthy for you! You will be fine and I hope you feel better soon. Put your feet up and relax!! You so deserve to treat yourself to some rest and relaxation. Maybe if those kids miss you they will be more appreciative about all the fun they have when they are with you.
Oh, and Aaron's feet....don't even get me started!! I love feet and toes and his are adorable!! Hugs and love, T
Sure hope you are feeling better. I know how miserable strep throat can be. I used to get it several times a year as a kid.
Sorry you are ill but LOVE your sign-so cool!
I'm so sorry to hear you had strep! It's an awful feeling - I hope you are doing much better!
I love the sign you made and I'm glad you finally decided to take back your weekends and realize they will still love you and they know you still love them...just because you want your own time!
