The generosity of people you meet on the internet astounds me!
I was warned that a little something was headed my way but I was blown away by the beautiful and generousness of that "little" something.
My new blogless friend read through my flickrs and emails that I'm quite partial to orange and pink and combined the two and sent me this:
My was hyperventilating for a few minutes at the gorgeousness of these fabrics.
This world is so full of sweet wonderful people. Thank you!
I mentioned last week or the previous week that I had ordered some books for the summer.
They came today!
The top book is for Aaron. Well I'm going to read and hopefully use it during our summer activities. You didn't think he'd be reading it did you?
The second book is an early birthday present for me from me and the last book is another present for me, let's say it's from Aaron.
The American Quilt book is a BEAUTIFUL book on the history of quilts in America. I've been taking this book out from the librarby in it's French translation for years, at least 12! I looked it up last year online and found this one. I wasn't sure it would be the same book as the covers were different. Upon a quick flip through the book it is the same! I was near tears of joy and happiness that I own one of my favorite books ever. I could have continued taking out the one from the library but I wanted to fully enjoy the story behind the book. I can read French but I much rather read English, as I'd understand a lot more of it as I read.
