August update

I went to a fair last weekend and rode a few rides. This ride I'm on nearly did me in. It took me an hour to recouperate from feeling a little green around the gills.
This post will be scattered since I have many things I want to share.
I finished my doll quilt and mailed it off last week:

Other than that I haven't done much sewing. I miss it very much but between caring for Aaron and having little people company more often than not I have no time or energy to sew. There's been a quilting project sitting on my kitchen table now for a month!

I recieved this wonderful surprise package from My Crafty Wonderland (blogspot). I litterally gasped when I opened the package. Bless those with kind hearts and generosity!

And Aaron I'm still managing to get Aaron in the pool a few times a week:

We went shopping a couple weeks ago and he picked out this swimming shirt and he loves it so much he has to wear it everytime he goes in the pool. I like it that it protects him from the sun and keeps his g-tube out of sight.

I wish I could blog more often but the lack of things to blog about has me bummed out. My home desktop computer is full of bugs so it's not reliable all the time and I don't want to fill up the borrowed laptop with my photos from my fancy camera. I've been using Aaron's Ipod to take photos with instagram. Although I do love the app I miss taking pretty photos and posting them. That will all change this week though since I took advantage of the back to school specials and ordered a new laptop. Once that comes in I can back up my desktop files I want to keep and my neighbour is going to help me reformat it so it won't be so full of bugs anymore. Yayy.
I'm also in the process of doing a little rearranging around here. A friend gave us a nice couch and I offered my futon to another boyfriend of someone just starting out in his own appartment. In order to simplify my life and diminish clutter I gave him my big desk too. I have another lovely old desk that will be nice in the living room. Smaller and less change for me to mess it up. (I hope?)
I'm off to go sew for a couple hours while Aaron is with papa. They'll arrive soon and we'll all go do a little school shopping for our Aaron. Even though the papa and I don't get along on a personal level I am still trying to be friends and get along with him for Aaron's benefit. As much as I dont like to admit as Aaron gets older I need to rely on him for support regarding Aaron. In a few months we will be going through something quite challenging.
But we're not there yet and we still have 2 weeks of summer left. I plan to make the most of our carefree days while we have them.
